Visit by students of Cameron School Print E-mail
cameron-site.jpgStudents and Faculty of Cameron School of Business, University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, USA, visited Asian School of Business recently. The  delegation of motivated graduate students, currently working in a variety of industries in Houston - oil and gas, banking, insurance and information technology and from varying ethnic backgrounds were accompanied by Prof Beena George.

  cameron-class.jpgThe team was on a study tour to India wherein they visited select business schools and several leading corporates. Their goal on visiting the organizations in India was to provide students with the opportunity to see first-hand the facilities, expertise, and talent in organizations in India so that they may better appreciate opportunities for global collaboration and competition. Specifically, with the visits to business organizations, the students were expected to gain an understanding of the operations and the unique challenges faced by these organizations.






cameron-class2.jpgAt ASB they were very keen to understand the Indian management education system and were very impressed with ASB's approach to building leaders. Prof. Ramakrishnan, Director, ASB, welcomed the delegation.The session concluded with an intense interactive  session between the students of Cameron School of Business and students and faculty of ASB.
