
Prof. Ashish Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Accountancy and Finance in Asian School of Business. He has completed his PhD in Commerce from University of Lucknow (NAAC A++) (Thesis submitted). He has qualified UGC-JRF in Commerce, UGC- NET in Commerce (4 times) and UGC NET in Management (3 times). He has been promoted from JRF to SRF during his research work. He has done M.COM (pure Commerce) as well as MBA (Finance). He has published 12 research papers in different areas of Commerce and Management and is published in various national and international journals. He has been a resource person for “NET/JRF preparatory classes” for PG students of Department of Commerce, University of Lucknow and “One Week Orientation Workshop on UGC NTA NET/JRF in Commerce” organized jointly by the Department of Applied Economics & Commerce, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar and Indian Accounting Association, Patna Branch. He has co-authored three books titled “Organizational Behaviour and its Importance in Organization”, “Entrepreneurial Finance: A Complete Guide for Entrepreneur” and “Accounting Theory” He has contributed a chapter titled, “A Study on the Challenges and Opportunities in the context of Organized Retailing in India” published in edited book titled, “Essentials of Business Management Trends, Opportunities and Updates” His specialisation areas are Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Taxation, Statistics, Management and Marketing. He has more than 5 years of teaching experience.
