Misconceptions about BBA Course That We Should Avoid

BBA or Bachelor of Business Administration is without doubt one of the best courses provided in undergraduate colleges and it is a very good career option for students. It is for this reason that today this course one of the most popular courses among the students after the completion of their 12th board examinations. In fact, it is a course which can be truly illuminating for the students before they decide to enter the professional world. Misconception No. 1: There is no difference between B.Com and BBA

One of the most common myths about this course is that there is no such difference between a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and BBA course. This idea is completely wrong. The most basic difference is that BBA is a business or management degree and it involves subjects related to management whereas B.Com is a degree of accounts and commerce. BBA lets one explore the work of managerial positions in marketing, finance, IT and HR and B.Com primarily focuses on work of accountants, CA, CS and so on.

Misconception No. 2: BBA is suitable only for commerce students

There is a myth that BBA course is only for commerce students and hence it is not suitable for students from other streams of study. The fact is that BBA is open and suitable for students of all courses and streams of study. So, whether one is from science, commerce or arts background, they all can get into BBA. Albeit, subjects like economics and accountancy may appear easier for commerce students.

Misconception No. 3:  There is no other option other than MBA after graduating with BBA

MBA is definitely not the only option after BBA. There are a plethora of courses which one can pursue after BBA like Journalism & Mass Communication, Hotel Management, Architecture, Law, etc.

Misconception No. 4:  BBA does not provide employment opportunities

This is an absolutely false assumption. In fact, BBA is a course which can land a student in job very early in their life. BBA students get the opportunity to work with top corporate companies. And, when the students pursue BBA from one of the best BBA colleges in Delhi NCR or any part of the country, they have brighter chances to grab a job offer immediately after the completion of their course.
