Ideathon 7.0, Asian School of Business

As part of a series of impactful initiatives at the Asian School of Business, Ideathon 7.0 was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Center on November 13, 2024, to foster innovation, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students across India.

The event garnered an outstanding response, attracting nominations from institutions across the country, including renowned colleges and universities such as IIT Hyderabad, Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi, GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Sharda University, IMS Noida, Amity University Noida, Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management Nagpur, Gitarattan International Business School, Jaipuria Institute of Management Jaipur, IILM Greater Noida, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM),  New Delhi Institute of Management, Galgotia University, and many more. The rigorous screening process took place over three days—November 6th, 8th, and 9th—and resulted in the selection of 17 teams for the second round. From these, 10 teams advanced to the final pitch session in the ASB auditorium, where they presented their innovative business ideas before an esteemed jury panel.

The grand finale featured a distinguished panel of judges and guests, including Mr. Nitesh Singh, Co-Founder of Redplum Private Ltd. (Blue Tea); Dr. Shweta Singh, Founder of Ennoble IP; and Debasri Das Sharma, MD & Founder of Innovoy Retail Pvt Ltd (ArtCAKEtect Toy Treats). Their expertise and insights added immense value to the event, providing critical feedback and guidance to the participants. The participants’ hard work and dedication were rewarded when Srijan Shahi from IIT Hyderabad was declared the winner and claimed the top prize of Rs. 25,000 with a compelling and innovative business idea that impressed the judges and audience like, while Team Vasundra, led by Kartik Chauhan, a student from BBA Vth semester, the Asian School of Business, finished as the runners-up.
