The Asian School of Business welcomed its new batch with a grand and remarkable orientation program which started on 11th of September at ASB campus. The inaugural ceremony of the program was a perfect opening of series of events which was structured to align the fresh minds with the vision and objectives of the Asian School of Business. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Pushpa Bector, Senior Executive Director and Business Head Retail, DLF. Ms. Bector congratulated the students for starting their academic journeys when India has just witnessed a landmark event like G-20. and is headed to become the third largest economy of the world with unprecedented opportunities coming up for the new entrants in the workforce.
The second guest of the occasion Ms. Aayara Shaheer, Director-Head of Wealth & Insurance, Mobikwik impressed upon the students that they need to possess a clear mindset regarding what they seek from life. A clear mindset, stated Ms. Shaheer, is the key to a successful professional journey.
Mr. Ashish Vidyarthi, Co-founder, Avid Miner and renowned Bollywood actor was the third guest for the day. In the second half of the session, Mr. Vidyarthi delivered a power packed motivational talk for the students. The cornerstone of his speech was that every student should consider himself important because he is the sole in-charge of his life. He emphasized that it is the hunger to achieve one’s aim which keeps an individual going, even in the toughest of times. Mr. Vidhyarthi left students with a deep impression and message that life is a blessing and they mustembrace all its shades.
