Bachelor of Commerce at Asian School of Business (ASB) is a three-year full-time degree course affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, on the lines of New Education Policy 2020. This is designed and structured to provide young minds with a learning environment that stimulates within them the application of principles of commerce in the dynamic business environment, while developing their skills through numerous skill-development and co-curricular initiatives.

The course is designed to give students exposure to numerous vocational courses with the objective of enhancing their employability skills. The course is intended to deliver a basic understanding of commerce, economics, accounting, finance concepts, and business environment.

The Outcome-Based Programme at ASB seeks to develop the skills and competencies of students in translating commerce theory into practice and making them capable of identifying business opportunities and strategies. The approach towards teaching is more practical, where knowledge is imparted for practical application in the corporate world.

This undergraduate programme equips students with an in-depth understanding of commerce theory, coupled with intensive industry exposure. The courses of this programme have been designed to promote understanding of the issues confronting the business world and the economy as a whole.

The salient features of the programme include emphasis on enhancing students’ understanding of various systems, policy frameworks, and strategies needed to administer rapid changes in an organisation’s global-oriented environment, while meeting the requirements of young and enterprising Indians to nurture their dreams of entrepreneurship.

It also exposes students to the world of technology and digitisation in the relevant field, as envisaged by scholars and policymakers. At ASB, the programme also offers flexibility and learning opportunities through a credit-based approach.

The curriculum is flexible and includes lectures, case studies, role plays, and integrative exercises. The focus of the curriculum is to build the ability to maintain and sustain existing businesses in the face of dynamic competition and ensure sustainable growth, while contributing to nation-building through students’ intellect and social capital.
