Introduction: The “Artistic Tribute – Celebrating Gandhi Jayanti Through Art” event was a resounding success, organized by the Community Service Club at ASB Campus. It aimed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by providing a platform for students to express their thoughts and artistic skills through posters and slogans. This event was a beautiful fusion of art and the principles of Gandhiji.
Participation: A total of 28 teams exhibited their enthusiastic participation in the event, comprising students from BBA, BCA, and BCom programs. Each team showcased their artistic talents while illuminating the principles and vision of Mahatma Gandhi through their posters and slogans.
Contest Categories: The contest featured two main categories: Poster along with Slogan.
- Participants were tasked with creating original posters on A4/A3/ Chart paper.
- They were granted the freedom to employ any art medium of their choice, including paints, markers, and other color forms and showcased the Principle’s and vision of Gandhiji.
- Each poster was complemented by a brief, impactful, and original slogan, containing no more than 20 words.
Evaluation Criteria: Entries were meticulously assessed based on the following criteria:
- Creativity: The uniqueness and originality of the artwork.
- Relevance to the Theme: How effectively the posters and slogans portrayed the life, principles, and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.
- Artistic Skill: The quality of the artwork, encompassing composition, color, and design.
- Overall Impact: The emotional and intellectual resonance the posters had with viewers.

Display: Selected posters were prominently displayed at a designated area within the college, and some will feature in the college magazine “The Zine,” and also on official social media platforms for everyone to admire.
