Industrial Visit to APP SQUADZ for BCA Semester-IV students

An industrial visit was arranged for BCA Semester-IV students to a well-known IT company specializing in web and mobile app development, managed services, cloud migration, and AWS media services on 10-02-2025. The visit aimed to offer students practical exposure to the IT industry’s work environment and deepen their understanding of real-world technological applications.

Details of the Visit:

Our students were welcomed by Mr. Manish Rana (Manager, APP SQUADZ), who briefed the students about the company’s history, core services, and technological advancements followed by an Interactive Sessions with Mr. Vishal Ranjan (Business Development Manager) and Ms. Megha Dixit(Senior HR). The students were then taken on a guided tour of different departments, including:

  1. Cyber Security Department: Industry experts highlighted the significance of network security, firewalls, and ethical hacking in ensuring a secure digital infrastructure.
  2. Software Development Division: Students were given an overview of various programming languages, frameworks, and tools used in software development. They also observed live demonstrations of ongoing projects.
  3. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Lab: Students were introduced to AI-driven solutions, data analytics, and machine learning algorithms.

Key Learnings:

  • Gaining insights into the latest advancements and emerging technologies in the IT industry.
  • Learning about the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management approaches like Agile and Scrum.
