Asian School of Business recently held its annual inter-college cultural fest, ‘KESSHET’ on Thursday, 17th January 2019 at its campus in Noida. KESSHET 2019 was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm, and in complete Bollywood style. One of the attractive event activity at this festive celebration was the “Case Analysis” competition.
The competition was meant for those who were looking for something slightly more serious, away from the musical and the theatrical events, but sporty all the same.
The event required that one have a bent towards managerial skills and who believed that they could plan strategies while working for the corporate world.
As per the rules of the game, the participant/team were given a case study on the date of the fest. The participants/teams were asked to make a presentation within the given stipulated time on the analysis of that particular company. Subsequently, the participants/teams were scrutinized according to their analysis and justifications presented.
As far as the composition of the team was concerned, each team could have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 members. All the members needed to be from same college. Again, any participant could not be part of more than one team, and no change of team structure was permitted after the team got registered.
The case study analysis had 6 participant teams on the day. The event was judged by two experienced external judges, namely, Dr. Chirag Malik from ICFAI Business School IBS Gurgaon and Ms. Mamta Chawla, Assistant Professor-Marketing in Amity University.
The first position was won by Ms. Jaspreet Kaur of ABS. The judges were all praise for the quality of the work done by participants within a brief period of time.
