A group of 60 students (MBA & BBA) with 4 faculty members of Asian Business School went on a week long college trip to Goa from 10th to 17th Dec ‘ 2012. The group stayed in a sprawling and classy 4 star Sunvillage Resort in north Goa near Baga beach. The students had a great time in the resort with all the comfort amenities like swimming pool, gym, wi-fi network, live music etc. During the stay, the group visited various places in Goa like Baga beach, Anjuna beach, Old church, Fort Aguada and Panjim Market. Students had a great time doing different daring adventure sports like Para-sailing, Banana ride, Jet-ski etc. The most thrilling of all was the banana ride where a group of 5 people were taken by 2 local experts to the middle of the vast sea on a banana shaped boat and then they were all suddenly toppled into the sea. Though everybody was wearing life jackets, thus there was no risk of drowning but the experience of being in the cold water for 5 minutes was scary yet thrilling. Everyone enjoyed it. The group also visited Old church, Anjuna beach and explored Panjim market where the whole group did lot of local shopping, especially everybody bought cashewnuts, the Goa speciality and coconut chocolates. On the last day of the trip, students went on a cruise where there was an extravaganza of dance and music on a moving ship. All the students danced on the foot tapping Goan music on the Cruise. Not only the stay in Goa but also the train journey from Delhi to Goa and return was enjoyed by the students to the hilt with singing, dancing, playing a lot of indoor games and chit chatting. Also students had a great time clicking photographs of beautiful beaches and other places in Goa. With that a beautiful trip to Goa ended with loads of memories for the whole group to cherish for their lifetime.
