Asian School of Business inaugurated the new batch of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Programs on Saturday, 17th August 2019. Ms. Renu Bohra, CHRO, DB Schenker was one of the eminent guests. While delivering her address, she first up congratulated and welcomed the students on the onset of their new academic journey.
After congratulating and welcoming the students, Ms. Bohra then offered the students some practical advice on importance of domain knowledge and soft skills which include people skills, social skills, communication skills, character or personality traits and attitudes etc.
Talking about the importance of soft skills and its impact on the employability of the students, she narrated her experience of hiring wherein quite a few times, they find students good on domain knowledge but lack in speaking skills. She therefore advised the students to make the best use of this opportunity of education and get the best out of it in the areas of domain knowledge and soft skills development.
