The Community Service Club (CSC) at the Asian School of Business organised an industrial visit to The Earth Saviour Foundation, Bandhwari Village, and Gurugram, Haryana on 29th January 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with first-hand experience of the work done by NGOs in empowering underprivileged communities.

During the visit, we explored the operations of The Earth Saviour NGO, observed how they cater to the daily needs of their residents and learned about the various services offered. The visit not only highlighted the importance of humanitarian work but also shed light on the impact of community support and volunteer efforts in making a difference in people’s lives. Through this experience, students gained a deeper appreciation for the work of NGO’S and the significance of compassion in addressing social challenges. The endeavour was to sensitise the students towards the have-nots and those abandoned by their family members, thereby becoming more compassionate

The objective of the industrial visit to Earth Saviour NGO was to gain a deeper understanding of the important work done by NGOs in supporting abandoned individuals. Students were aimed to learn about the essential services provided, such as shelter, food, medical care, and emotional support. The visit also helped raise awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable groups in society and emphasized the importance of volunteerism in running such organizations. Additionally, the visit encouraged students to be more socially responsible and consider contributing to social welfare efforts in the future.

The visit was a transformative experience for the students, providing them with deep insights into the functioning of NGOs and their role in society. It not only broadened their perspective on social issues but also inspired many to take active steps toward community service. The exposure to the struggles of marginalized groups fostered empathy and a strong sense of social responsibility, motivating students to contribute meaningfully to humanitarian efforts in the future.
