ASB SHARK TANK COMPETITION

The Shark Tank presentation was an initiative under PDCC subject for the BBA 2nd-semester students held on 13th March, 2024 at ASB Auditorium. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, creativity, and ability to pitch innovative business ideas to a panel of judges, simulating the popular television show “Shark Tank.” Each student or group presented their business concept, outlining the product/service, target market, marketing strategy, financial projections, and seeking investment.

Interactive Q&A Sessions: Following each presentation, the panel of judges conducted insightful Q&A sessions, probing into various aspects of the business models presented. Students responded confidently, demonstrating a deep understanding of their ventures and addressing queries with poise.

Constructive Feedback: Judges provided constructive feedback to each presenter, offering valuable insights into areas for improvement such as market research, financial projections, scalability, and competitive positioning while refining their business management concepts—a crucial aspect of entrepreneurial journey.

Networking Opportunities: The event provided networking opportunities for students to connect with judges and students from other sections of BBA. Such interactions fostered collaboration, idea sharing, and learning beyond the classroom.

Teamwork and Collaboration: For group presentations, students learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration in developing and presenting a cohesive business plan. They leveraged each other’s strengths to deliver compelling pitches.
