Ecobiz 2.0, Asian School of Business

In today’s fast-evolving economic landscape, where traditional jobs are becoming increasingly unpredictable, the entrepreneurial spirit has never been more crucial. Many aspire to start their ventures, yet the biggest challenge remains—where and how to begin?

To bridge this gap, the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Centre (EDIC) at Asian School of Business (ASB) hosted EcoBiz 2.0 on March 7, 2025, at the AEG campus. This dynamic initiative was designed to cultivate business acumen, strategic thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills, empowering students to innovate, market, and sell eco-friendly products in a competitive marketplace.

With six members per team, participants competed in a two-phase challenge. Out of an impressive 62 registered teams, only 20 advanced through a rigorous screening round on March 6, 2025, securing their spot in the final showdown. The competition wasn’t just about selling—it was about understanding market demand, optimizing pricing strategies, and maximizing profitability.

The event showcased a diverse array of eco-conscious innovations, with teams presenting unique offerings such as organic ice creams (Zayka-e-Mohabbat), handcrafted air-clay keychains, fridge magnets, flowers, and home décor items (ClayNest), exquisite resin jewelry (Resil), and natural Holi colors (Basant).

The winners were adjudged based on return on investment, total profit earned, and highest sales figures and a special category award for the best women-led team (The “Eco-Queens” Award). ASB’s young entrepreneurs collectively generated an impressive ₹32,410 in revenue within a few hours, showcasing their ability to transform ideas into tangible business success.

Winning Teams:

Claynest – Recorded the highest sales and profit
Fortuner – Recognized for the best return on investment
Lush Littles – Crowned “Eco-Queens” for their excellence in sustainable business

EcoBiz 2.0 was more than just a competition—it was a launchpad for the next generation of entrepreneurs. By fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and strategic execution, the event proved that the future belongs to those who dare to create, adapt, and lead.
