“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”
Farewell is one special day where there is a recurrent theme of nostalgia and memories permeating throughout. Similar scenario was witnessed by the Batch of 2020 of BBA and BCA on 6th June, 2023. This farewell was not just meant to say goodbye to the relieving batch but to wish them luck for their future prospects; and hopefully look forward to welcome them for being the alumni of Asian School of Business. The day began with welcoming the final year students with sweet little cupcakes that exhibited a sweet beginning to the memorable day. Farewell is a time when students shed tears and cherish each and every memory they have of the three years of growing up as professionals. A similar act was witnessed when students of batch 2021 and 2022 presented some astonishing and extravagant performances for their seniors, dedicating these to the three years of college life that is going to stay with them forever. The performances began with dances presented in groups and a solo performance by a student of batch of 2022 who beautifully showed us how liberating it was to step into the college life. After which the most awaited performance of the college band happened which was the show stopper performance of the whole event. A band where students of Asian School of Business even presented a self- composed song dedicating it to the mix of emotions that a student faces through the struggle of life. The event, then, saw some spectacular ramp walks by students of batch of 2020 who showed their confidence and attitude of being the proud students of Asian School of Business. The ramp walk was concluded with announcement of Mr. and Ms. Farewell, who were Abhay Pokhriyal, BCA 2020, and Akansha Raj, BCA 2020, which was followed by cake cutting and wishing these students luck, success and prosperity. A day to remember and a time to relish for the final year students marked the end of their undergraduate days.
