Workshop on From Classroom to Career

On 27th November 2024, a dynamic Workshop on From Classroom to Career: Developing Skills that vCrop successfully conducted in partnership with NASSCOM. Designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, the workshop empowered participants with essential skills and insights to thrive in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. The event was led by the founders of vCrop, Mr. S. Rajnish, Co-Founder & CEO, and Mr. Amit Atri, Co-Founder & CEO, bringing decades of experience in corporate finance, IT, and management. Their insights highlighted the importance of aligning academic knowledge with practical industry needs and adopting innovative approaches to problem-solving.

The workshop introduced the Learning Track Courses under the thingQbator Program, an initiative by VCrop in collaboration with NASSCOM FOUNDATION, which aims to:

  • Empower students through hands-on learning and digital skill-building.
  • Encourage the development of local solutions to real-world problems.
  • Facilitate connections between innovations and markets for scalability.
  • Support students in becoming job creators rather than job seekers.

Participants could engage in interactive sessions, experience live demonstrations, and explore resources designed to enhance their career prospects. One of the standout features of these courses is their accessibility—they are free of cost for students and institutions.

The workshop concluded with a call to action for students to embrace these opportunities, gain industry-recognized certifications, and prepare for a competitive job market. This workshop reinforced the commitment of vCrop in collaboration with NASSCOM to nurturing future-ready professionals by fostering a culture of lifelong learning and innovation.
