In celebration of World Environment Day 2025, the Asian School of Business successfully organized a Slogan Competition on the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution Globally”. This student-driven initiative aimed to encourage awareness, inspire creativity, and promote eco-conscious behavior among ASB students. Participants submitted powerful slogans along with short videos showcasing their efforts in combating plastic pollution—ranging from the use of eco-friendly alternatives to community awareness drives.
Entries were evaluated on alignment with the theme, voice modulation, creativity, and overall impact. Winners will be awarded Certificates of Achievement during the Confluence, while all participants will receive E-Certificates appreciating their contribution to the cause.
In conjunction with the slogan competition, ASB also conducted an on-campus Plantation Drive, further reinforcing the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Deans, conveners, faculty members, and staff enthusiastically participated in planting saplings around the campus, symbolizing a collective pledge towards a greener future.
This two-fold celebration not only enriched student involvement in sustainability efforts but also strengthened the values of environmental stewardship within the campus community. The event reflected ASB’s holistic educational approach—integrating awareness, action, and responsibility for a better tomorrow.
