A core initiative of Asian Education Group (AEG) – considered as the largest centre for professional media, IT, law, management, fashion & hospitality education in Asia with world-class facilities – this webinar was organized by Asian School of Business (ASB) ) – which is a constituent group college of Asian Education Group and is ranked as the top private BBA/BCA colleges in Delhi NCR – for all BBA & BCA students & aspirants. The webinar was followed by a lively Q&A Session with the young but no less distinguished guest.
The live session began with a welcome note, followed by a brief but highly impressive introduction of the young illustrious guest by Ms. Garima Malhotra on behalf of the AEG family. Commencing her talk, Ms. Shruti Mishra first of all expressed her grateful thanks to the Academic Team of ASB for the warm welcome extended to her. She then most humbly hoped that she would be able to answer all the questions in this forum and also suggested that students could write to her on her email address regarding any further queries if they remained unanswered.
Following that, she straightaway got down to the topic of the webinar session, viz. “ALIGNING INDUSTRY EXPECTATIONS”. She started by stating that this year has not been an easy year because of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Commenting on the current business scenario, she said, “Organizations that were quick to adapt to the situation flourished while those that could not were ruined. Collaborations, shift to the virtual operations, work from home, unleashing new ways of production, embracing new talents, marketing through online platforms, data-centric approach to strategy building, using technology for digital transformation … has become the new norm of business operations.”
Speaking about the future, Ms. Shruti Mishra said, “Ambiguity is creating new currency of trust. Post the COVID-19 pandemic, new things are emerging for new age business graduates … and students need to upskill and upgrade themselves in sync with the demands of the time. They should specifically develop knowledge of industries on holistic point of view and focus on the key areas of operations that were severely affected by the pandemic like disruption of supply-chain mechanism, productivity, product marketing, footfall conversion, reaching the consumer, and so on.”
Then, Ms. Shruti Mishra opened the session for questions from the students. As expected, there was a flurry of questions related to the topic of the day – viz. “ALIGNING INDUSTRY EXPECTATIONS” – as well as her current high profile role at PUMA Group that were put up by the students to which the young dynamic speaker provided the most convincing answers. Here, she liberally substantiated her answers by delving into the details of the business operations being followed at PUMA Group for a clearer understanding of the inquisitive students.
Thereafter, Ms. Shruti Mishra was presented with a sparkling “Memento” on behalf of Asian Education Group, which was greatly appreciated by the young distinguished guest.
Following this, the insightful live webinar session with this young HR leader came to a fitting end!
