Summer Internships and Final Placements

Student Career Development Cell (SCDC) at Asian School of Business facilitates the summer internships and final placements of the students.

Summer Internship Programme

As part of the programme curriculum, after completion of their second year, each student is required to undergo a summer internship that allows them to experience and learn the corporate culture, develop skills, and help them understand the corporate challenges and expectations. The duration of the internship is between 6 to 8 weeks during June–August.

Internships help students gain exposure to the real world, acquire hands-on experience, and receive opportunities that support their personal growth and professional development. The interns are expected to work in a team, learn industry work models, and acquire desired personal and professional skills.

Students are expected to think out of the box and demonstrate their managerial skills and knowledge gained during classroom teaching. A wide range of profiles are offered in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Analytics, and Operations. Opportunities are available in social media marketing, content writing, brand management, SEO, consulting, graphics, and other areas.

The Summer Internship Programme includes regular offline review meetings between students, the industry guide, and the faculty guide to monitor progress. Companies, on their part, provide structured feedback based on key performance criteria to ensure a well-rounded and effective internship experience.
