Achieving academic excellence while juggling professional commitments is no easy feat. Imagine completing Ph.D. journey alongside simultaneous teaching and accomplishing it all in just three years. This is a story of sheer determination, strategic time management, and an unwavering passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
Com and M. Com provide a strong foundation in commerce, covering the essentials of accounting, finance, taxation and business principles. However, pursuit of Ph.D. while teaching requires a different level of commitment and effort. It is a marathon, not a sprint, and demands consistent focus and resilience. Teaching adds another layer of complexity, as it involves not only knowledge sharing but also continuous preparation, engaging students, and staying updated with trends in both academia and industry.
The secret to managing these parallel paths lies in a disciplined routine, prioritizing tasks, and leveraging every opportunity to align academic pursuits with professional roles. For instance, teaching while researching offers a dual advantage: reinforcing theoretical knowledge and applying research insights in real-time discussions with students.
Completing a Ph.D. in three years is a rare accomplishment. It means navigating rigorous coursework, conducting in-depth research, and presenting findings all while meeting the demands of a teaching schedule. Yet, the reward is unmatched. It shapes a scholar, a mentor, and a thought leader, capable of inspiring the next generation. This journey is a testament to the fact that when passion meets perseverance, extraordinary achievements become possible. For those willing to take on such a challenge, the road may be tough, but the destination is worth every effort.
The learning for students is very clear. In case they would like to prepare for CA/ CS with B. COM or they want to prepare for MBA along with BBA, they need to learn the art of balancing both. It is important to maintain their academic grades, attendance and presence in classes so that they don’t lose out on the academic knowledge. At Asian School of Business, we motivate the students to purse their dreams, but not at the cost of diluting their efforts in either. They are expected to work hard, consistently and regularly.
