As a faculty at the Asian School of Business (ASB), I have often observed that while academic knowledge builds a strong foundation, it is a student’s personality that truly sets them apart in the professional world. This understanding lies at the heart of ASB’s holistic approach to BBA, BCA, B. Com & B. Sc. programs, where personality development is not treated as a supplementary aspect, but as a core element of our academic journey. As educators, we carry the responsibility to nurture not just intellect but the individual. At the Asian School of Business (ASB), this philosophy drives our commitment to embedding personality development into the very fabric of our college.
At ASB, we believe that education must prepare students not just to pass exams, but to face life.
The Crafting Prodigy Program is a distinctive initiative that nurtures confidence, communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership—all essential attributes for future professionals. Through this program and other dedicated interventions, we aim to shape our students into individuals who are not only employable but also inspiring.
Our curriculum integrates value-added courses that focus on communication skills, presentation abilities, interpersonal development, and professional etiquette. From classroom discussions to club activities and public speaking forums, every touchpoint is an opportunity to help students evolve and express themselves with clarity and conviction.
What makes ASB’s approach unique is the conscious effort to blend theoretical learning with personality refinement. Workshops, mock interviews, grooming sessions, and reflective exercises are carefully curated to build self-awareness and confidence. The transformation we witness in our students, from hesitant freshmen to poised graduates, is both rewarding and inspiring.
As educators, our responsibility extends beyond academics. We are here to mentor, guide, and empower. At ASB, personality development is not an add-on; it is an integral part of who we are and what we stand for. It is how we prepare our students not just to enter the workforce, but to lead it as well.
