Asian School of Business, Noida, organized an engaging activity called “WEBMASTER” on Wednesday, 25th September 2019. The activity was organized under the umbrella of WebGeeks Club. The activity was earmarked for all batches of ASB BCA students.
The students of all batches of BCA actively participated in the event which was basically a ‘Website Development Competition’. The theme of the activity was “Nation First”, which was declared to the students on the spot. The students designed the websites showing their immense creativity and innovation.
As it turned out, “WEBMASTER” was an activity to combine Technology with the emotions and sentiments of every Citizen.
The objective of the ‘WebGeeks Club Activities’ is to enhance the technical skills amongst the budding IT professionals so that they can prove to be highly efficient in all their endeavors in the corporate world and thereby become highly employable.
In this activity, the students were supposed to create a website with the help of HTML coding. In order to evaluate the level of skill development, the event was judged on the basis of criteria such as Design & Composition for Creativity evaluation, Number of Functionalities used for evaluating the level of knowledge, and Presentation skills to check the overall presentability of the website, which is one of the important criteria.
Based on the evaluation results, ASB student Kshitiz Kumar of BCA 5th semester was declared as the winner of the competition.
