In celebration of Women Entrepreneurship Day, Asian School of Business organized a special session on 19 November to highlight the role of women in entrepreneurship and leadership. The session featured Ms. Jaya Goyal, Chairperson, Women Entrepreneur Cell & Committee Member, MEPSC and Ms. Meghnaa Arhora, Founder, Electrogets Technologies.
The objectives of the session were to:
- Create awareness about the role and importance of women entrepreneurs in economic development.
- Encourage self-growth, confidence, and leadership among students, especially women.
- Highlight the significance of innovation and First Mover Advantage in entrepreneurship.
- Inspire students through real-life experiences of successful women entrepreneurs.
Ms. Jaya Goyal addressed students on the significance of self-growth and personal empowerment as the foundation of entrepreneurial success. She emphasized the courage required to overcome societal and personal barriers and encouraged young women to confidently step into entrepreneurial roles.
Ms. Meghnaa Arhora spoke on the concept of First Mover Advantage and its importance in today’s competitive business environment. She inspired students by sharing her vision of India’s growing global potential and encouraged them to innovate, take initiative, and think globally while acting locally.
The session was informative and empowering, providing students with role models and practical insights into women-led entrepreneurship. It aligned with the institution’s commitment to promoting gender equality, leadership, and innovation.
