The month of October 2024 at the Asian School of Business (ASB) was a vibrant celebration of excellence, bringing together students from all batches in a series of events that spanned cultural, academic, and athletic domains. The events were a testament to ASB’s commitment to fostering well-rounded individuals and providing platforms for students to showcase their skills, leadership, and innovation.

The 2022 Batch Confluence held on 18th October was a powerful reflection of the students’ growth and achievements. The batch was recognized for their outstanding contributions in academic excellence, cultural events, and technical innovation. Students like Simran Barthwal, Suraj Singh were awarded for excelling in Semester 3; whereas Muskan Gaur, Priyanshu Soabhagya, and Gaurvi Sharma stood out as academic achievers, securing top ranks in their Semester 4, while also excelling in extracurricular activities. External achievements were equally impressive, with students like Sakshi Sisodiya, Riddhi Singh, and Himanshu Sahu receiving 3rd place in the Bleeding Edge Competition at Christ University for their innovative Cafeteria Ease app. In another significant win, students participated in the Cutting Edge AI & ML Competition held at Amity International Business School, clinching the third position, showcasing their prowess in AI and machine learning.

The 2023 Batch Confluence, held on 18th October, was equally inspiring. Students of the 2023 batch exhibited a strong commitment to both their academic pursuits and extracurricular involvement. The batch saw strong performances from students like Yashika Jain, who scored 67.5% in the National Level Online Quiz on Business English, organized by the Indian Accounting Association. At the same time, Harshit Sachdeva and Shubham Roy were honored with the Social Impact Award at Campus Tycoon 2.0 for their impactful project. Recognizing academic dedication, Aansi Tomar (BBA), Sonam (BCA), and Sanchika Khandelwal (B.Com) were acknowledged as the Semester 1 toppers, while Disha Gupta (BBA), Isha Jaswal (BCA), and Apoorvi Jain (B.Com) topped Semester 2.

The 2024 Batch Confluence, held on 24th October, marked a significant milestone for the newest members of the ASB community. This event served as a dynamic introduction to ASB’s vibrant culture and the opportunities ahead. Freshers showcased their talents in a spirited event featuring ramp walks, singing, and dancing performances. Students connected with peers and faculty, building confidence and excitement for their academic journey ahead. The batch also demonstrated enthusiasm and team spirit during SPORTIFY 3.0, which brought over 200 students together for a series of athletic challenges that celebrated camaraderie and resilience. Additionally, Model United Nations (MUN) 4.0, held on 23rd October, allowed students to engage in global issues and refine their leadership and public speaking skills, further promoting critical thinking and diplomacy.

In conclusion, October 2024 was a month of tremendous energy, achievements, and growth at ASB. From cultural celebrations and sports events to academic excellence and recognition in external competitions, ASB students showcased their talent and potential across multiple domains.
