Plantation Drive – Power of Nature

Let’s Nurture the nature so that we can have a better future

World Environment Day is Celebrated on 5th June every year to spread awareness about the Importance of Environment in India.

We owe a lot to the “World Environment day” celebration of plants and trees, a lovely effort to protect the environment. Native trees are typically planted because they are easily adaptable to the local conditions, blend into ecosystems, and have a high survival rate. Additionally, these trees support the local fauna, including birds, insects, and animals.

Under the initiative, schools, universities, and other academic institutions, NGOs, and welfare organisations can plant trees with the help of saplings provided by state governments and civic organizations. This is an initiative taken to save the planet by making this modest contribution.

Asian School of Business organized plantation drive in the college campus. Our students planted over 15-20 saplings around the premises of the organization. An additional drive was also initiated at the college campus where all the faculties and the staff members also planted a plant brought by them. Thus increasing the spread of the initiative.

At the end the students and faculty took a pledge to plant the maximum trees possible to make our environment clean and green and enhance the quality of life for us and our future generations.
It is imperative to spread awareness of the environmental crisis our world is going through, and the steps we could take to reduce pollution to make it sustainable. The plantation drive made our students understand the importance of planting trees and evoke in the students the need to save our planet. It was really an impactful event, as planting a tree is actually looking after the nature and nurturing it.
