The Asian School of Business organized a one-day industrial visit to Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. (Manesar) for the final-year B.Com female students on March 5, 2025 accompanied by Dr. Niharika Jaiswal. The selection of Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. for the industrial visit was based on several compelling reasons, including its relevance and alignment with the students’ academic curriculum.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the staff at Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd. The visit began with a safety session conducted by Mr. Pramod Sharma, Safety and Operations Manager, who introduced the students to essential safety measures and provided a comprehensive overview of all safety protocols followed at the facility.
Following the safety session, the students were taken on an extensive plant tour by Mr. Sharvan Tyagi, Senior Manager of Production. During the tour, Mr. Tyagi provided in-depth information about the company’s operations, focusing on the development and production of intelligent exterior systems, high-value lighting systems, clean energy solutions, and customized complex modules.
The visit culminated with an address from Mr. Ravikant Sharma, the Plant Manager, who elaborated on the company’s operations and highlighted the ongoing celebration of “Equity Week” at Plastic Omnium. The session provided valuable insights into the company’s corporate culture and its commitment to innovation.
The industrial visit came to a close with the students enjoying a pleasant lunch and receiving thoughtful giveaways. Dr. Niharika Jaiswal ended the visit by delivering a vote of thanks to the staff and members of Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy Manufacturing India Pvt.
