The essence of identifying the shared beliefs, values, and practices of Indian culture and its deep, penetrating roots always leaves us fascinated. The Utsav-The Cultural Club at the Asian School of Business encourages such extra-curricular activities that fall in line with the educational objectives while motivating students to explore through the bright colours of Indian history and geography. The Cultural Club organises the activities that include what suits one the best, be it to create, to watch, to teach, to enact, to delve into different art forms and expressions.
The Cultural Clubs’ objective is to boost the level of participation and involvement in the diverse cultural activities that constitute our community. In the direction of The Cultural Clubs’ objective an activity comprising of a Dance and Drama Recreation Competition- The Retro House, was organised on June 1st and 3rd, 2022 at its campus with great enthusiasm and glory.
A total of 30 teams with more than 80 participants from different batches of the Asian School of Business participated in this intra-college competition on June 1st, 2022. With colourful costumes matching the theme of Vintage Days, the teams performed gracefully and showcased their enthusiasm and creativity. The Cultural Club event on June 1st was organised such that two sessions were scheduled, with the morning session being devoted to dance performances and the evening session witnessing the Drama Recreation performances.
A total of 6 teams entered the finale, which was held on June 3rd, 2022. The finale marked another day of celebration with teams performing with more energy and grace in their exemplary performances. The teams were judged on the parameters of artistic skills, expression, costumes, and creativity.
The Cultural Club competition turned out to be a platform for students to showcase their confidence, spirit, and enthusiasm along with their artistic skills and an opportunity to learn to never give up and never stop learning while leading a disciplined life.
