Saving a life has never been easier! The “Community Service Club” and The “Human Values and Counselling Cell” of the Asian School of Business, in collaboration with Rashtriya Charitable Blood Centre and the India Red Cross Society, are once again organizing their Annual Blood Donation Drive to encourage voluntary blood donation and create awareness about its importance. Every year, ASB takes this initiative to inspire students, faculty, and staff to contribute to this noble cause, and this year is no different! The Blood Donation Drive will be held on 19th February 2025 at Campus from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. With a single blood donation, you can save up to three lives, giving hope to those battling serious illnesses, recovering from accidents, or undergoing critical surgeries. Blood shortages are a major challenge in hospitals, and your small act of kindness can be the lifeline someone desperately needs.
Donating blood is one of the most selfless and life-changing actions you can take. Many patients, including cancer warriors, trauma victims, and individuals with chronic illnesses, rely on timely blood transfusions to survive. By donating blood, you help ensure that hospitals and emergency units have the necessary resources to save lives. Additionally, blood donation has health benefits for the donor, such as improving blood circulation and promoting the production of new blood cells. Apart from the immeasurable satisfaction of saving lives, all donors will receive a Donor Certificate as recognition of their generosity, refreshments to keep them energized, and a token of appreciation as a small thank-you gift.
