ASB Annual Sports extravaganza: ATHLEEMA 2019

Asian School of Business held its much sought-after mega annual inter-college sports meet, ATHLEEMA 2019 from 13th to 15th March 2019 at the Jasola Sports Complex, New Delhi with its traditional punch of excitement and grandeur.

The games in which competitions were held included Cricket, Volleyball (Boys/Girls), Basketball (Boys/Girls), Football, Table Tennis, Tug-O-War, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Athletics (Shot Put & 100m Race), Kabaddi (Boys/Girls), Kho-Kho (Boys/Girls), and Pool.

Following two days of intense competition, the grand Valedictory function was held on Friday, 15th March 2019 at the ASB campus to felicitate students for their exemplary performance and zealous participation at the games. Prizes were given away by the well-known international media personality and Group President, Dr. Sandeep Marwah who aptly complimented and applauded the winners.

ATHLEEMA saw constitution of a very special award – viz. ‘Sportsperson of the Year Award’ for boys and girls separately with a view to spur the students into adopting sports earnestly. This coveted award carries the prestige of being given to a student who stays exceptionally active in all quarters of events and activities throughout the year and works towards team building and motivation.  The valedictory function came to a close with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr Ravi Sharma, Assistant Dean – CRC, Asian School of Business.

Overall, ATHLEEMA 2019 turned out to be a huge success and left behind a trail of great memories and achievements for students at Asian School of Business to cherish for a long time.
