Asian School of Business recently organized a workshop on “Know your rights – Ab Samjhauta Nahi” conducted by Josh Talks in association with ITC Vivel. The event was held on Friday, 27th September 2019 and had students from various colleges as participants.
The objective of the workshop was to create awareness amongst the students about their rights and also make them appreciate that gender and identity are two different things. More than 200 students attended the workshop. The trainer for the event was Ms. Richa Chadha, Trainer-Josh Talks. She apprised the students with the current legal and social issues prevailing in the society and helped them understand their fundamental rights, its scope, its diversity and its development. It also helped the students to develop an understanding of the issues like individual fundamental rights, Gender Equality, Domestic Violence, Divorce, Alimony and Inheritance.
Overall, the session increased the self-awareness among the students that would help them develop into strong and focused individuals contributing meaningfully to society.
