Every student eagerly awaits, right from their time of admission, the most memorable event of the college: the “FRESHER’S party.” On, 19th of November 2022 was an enchanting day in the life of every fresher of batch 2022 at AEG Campus. Little did the freshers know that they were making memories in the name of “having fun” It is the day when seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate belonging. Students were welcomed with so much enthusiasm and a welcoming performance, which was organised by “Utsav – The Cultural Club”.
The event’s inauguration began with the lighting of the lamp by the event’s dignitaries. The atmosphere was ignited with a lot of singing and dancing performances by the seniors and juniors on various themes, such as contemporary, ballet fusion, flash mob, and various colourful performances. The student participated in the fresher’s with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
The major fiesta of the event was the Ramp Walk on the Gothic theme, where the students walked on the ramp with their full confidence and enticed the heavens with their gothic expressions. A total of 5 boys and 5 girls were selected for the question-and-answer round for Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher. Kushagra Madan and Sakshi Pant of B.Com were declared as the winners of Freshers and crowned the title of Mr. and Ms. Fresher 2022.
In the later phase, singer Sunanda Sharma mesmerised the students with her live, power-packed singing and performance, followed by DJ -music for the students. The pink-cold month brought with it a slew of emotions that dominated the hearts of all freshers. The fresher’s day was in all filled with a lot of excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter, and happiness as they learned that college is a place to cultivate dignity, sincerity, and style along with academics.
