On June 29, 2022, Asian School of Business (ASB) officially announced “Student of the Year (SOTY)” with the unveiling of the poster, the grand trophy, the winning shield, and the prize of “Rs. 3 Lacs.” for GRANT/SEED Fund.
The launch was made in the esteemed presence of the Directors of Asian Education Group—Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, and Dr. Maroof Ahmad Mir, Dean, Asian School of Business, along with the AEG family.
“Student of the Year” is a wonderful opportunity instituted by Asian Business School which provides students a platform to hone their skills and shape themselves as an all-rounder.
The battle for the title would begin as soon as the student enrols into ASB, where each student would be given a chance to participate in the ASB Start Up Idea of the Year ’22, and the winner would bag a direct entry to the finale of “Student of the Year (SOTY)” and would also get a chance to win an Apple iPad.
“Student of the Year (SOTY)” will follow a rigorous and competitive process that would be based on the Student’s PAS score (Professional Assessment Score) calculated for the first two years based on the parameters such as- Academic Performance, Co-Curricular Activities, Sports and Cultural Activities, Attendance, etc.
In the final year, top 10 students with highest PAS score shall qualify for the GRAND FINALE of the Mega Event “ASB-SOTY“. The finale would entail to three levels: Sports Round, Talent Round and Business Plan Round.
Student of the Year Awards is perhaps one of the most prestigious events for young students that allows them to benchmark themselves against their fellow mates. The Award will be conferred on student who have the potential to serve as the role model for the entire student fraternity of ASB.
