The orientation programme for the first-year BBA, BCA, and BCom students of batch 2022

We are all inventors, each sailing out on a voyage of discovery, guided by a private chart, of which there is no duplicate. The world is all gates, all opportunities- Ralph Waldo Emerson

In present-day society, student orientation programmes are meant to direct and assist students with their transition. The orientation programme of the Asian School of Business is intended as a swift introduction to the academic, social, and cultural world of the Asian Education Group.

The orientation programme for the first-year BBA, BCA, and BCom students of batch 2022 was conducted for a span of 5 days, which commenced on September 28 and ended on October 3, 2022. The first day began with an inaugural ceremony with eminent guests: Dr. Garima Sawhney, Co-founder of Pristyn Care; Dr. (HC) P.K. Rajput, Senior Vice President, International Market at Cadilla Pharma Ltd., and Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Former Union Cabinet Minister, which was followed by a team-building activity. The later day’s events witnessed the Lead Lecture Series by Astha Almast, Founder, The New Shop, and Sahil Pruthi, Founder, Keto India, and a representative on Shark Tank India. The orientation programme conducted skill-based workshops to unveil the true potential and the right KSA (knowledge, skills, and attitude). With the Alumni Talk series and Campus Connect to introduce the beacons of knowledge, the orientation paved the way for the students to commence their journey from amateur to professional. Bringing out the best in the form of creative talents such as dance, painting, and singing, the Talent Hunt Competition was organised to win a chance at an Apple smartwatch. The Startup of the Year 2022 provided a platform for budding entrepreneurs to present their novel and innovative ideas, along with meticulously designed business plans for turning those ideas into real business propositions, and to win an Apple iPad.
