Industrial/ Corporate visits provide the students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods, and employment practices. It gives the students exposure to current work practices as opposed to theoretical knowledge being taught in their college classrooms. The students took a trail walk under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Balwinder Kaur who first briefed students with a very insightful session about the significance of flora and fauna. In order to provide the students with insight regarding the internal workings of companies, industrial visits are frequently organised at Asian School of Business. An industrial visit, with the goal of going beyond academics, gives students a practical perspective on the world of work.
On February 22, 2023, BCA 3rd Semester and BCA 5th Semester students visited the ALT Training Center at BSNL. Ms. Swasti Uppal, manager of the CRC, and Ms. Suvidha Agarwal, faculty, accompanied the 49 students on the visit.
On their arrival at the office of BSNL, all the students were very excited to learn more about the upcoming technologies. The students were provided full insight on telecommunications: what it is, how it is used, what its subsets are, and why it is leading in the market. Students gained a new perspective and were eager to learn more about it from the officials of BSNL.
Students were then formed into groups and given briefings on various networking devices. They were shown different switches, routers, and circuits and were shown the workings of BSNL communication through its routers and various cables.
The students were also trained on various programming tools and how data passes through various cables. They got to know how communication takes place and the entire hierarchy of a telephone call. The briefing gave the students a whole new insight into the function of the sector, and they got practical knowledge from experts on the terms that they hear every day.
Thus, through the visit, students got to know the real applications of various computing technologies and could relate to them in an efficient manner.
Industrial visit to Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. | January 31, 2023
On January 31, 2023, Asian School of Business organised an industrial visit for BCOM 2021 batch students to Moon Beverages Ltd. (the Coca-Cola Company’s bottling plant) in Greater Noida. With its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, The Coca-Cola Company is engaged primarily in the manufacturing and sale of syrup and concentrate for Coca-Cola, a sweetened carbonated beverage that is a cultural institution in the United States and a global symbol of American tastes. The company also produces and sells other soft drinks and citrus beverages. With more than 2,800 products available in more than 200 countries, Coca-Cola is the world’s largest beverage manufacturer and distributor and one of the largest corporations in the United States.
Moon Beverages Ltd. is India’s largest bottler for M/s Coca-Cola, and it manufactures and distributes soft drinks and Kinley Water under a franchise agreement with Coca-Cola Inc., USA. Moon Beverages is the only bottler in India for Coca Cola, manufacturing all its products. With a total area of about 100 acres, this plant has two lines: a can line to manufacture sparkling beverages and a still beverage line. At present, the plant’s installed capacity is 10 million cases per year, though the production ratio changes depending on the product’s demand and the season.
The establishment’s policies and procedures were explained to the students. The atmosphere when students entered the plant premises was pretty exciting. They were eager to see the manufacturing process and the functioning of the plant. Ms. Samarpreet Kaur and Ms. Richa, the marketing executives at the plant, took the students on a tour of the facility, which included the EV room, where the Coca-Cola Company and its acquired enterprises were introduced to the students through a presentation that covered the company’s past, present, and future objectives for lucrative goals. They explained the evolution of the iconic bottle of Coke and introduced them to their iconic Coke studio. Every single student had a very high level of curiosity.
The innovations that were made over the decade in the market astounded the students. The functions of the assembly line and packaging were described to the students. Every product was created with the intended consumer segment in mind. The students then proceeded to the main hall for a Q&A session with the officials. Every student participated in the Q&A with full enthusiasm.
Industrial visit to Haier | January 12, 2023
An industrial visit was organised for the B.Com. students of batch 2022 to Haier on January 12, 2023. The students were introduced to the Haier brand during the visit. The Haier Group Corporation, headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong, is a global Chinese manufacturer of consumer electronics and home appliances. Products including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, microwave ovens, mobile phones, laptops, and televisions are among the ones it creates, develops, manufactures, and sells. The Haier visitation area spans the entire world. With a total area of about 123 acres and a production capacity of over 1 million air conditioners annually, Haier Industry in Greater Noida is the company’s largest factory. At present, 5,000 air conditioners are produced each day, though the production ratio changes depending on the product’s demand and the season.

The students then proceeded to the production and assembly section, where the parts of the air conditioner and washing machine were put together after evaluating each appliance in the Haier Group showroom. Industry professionals offered students a detailed explanation of every assembling task that took place from the beginning of the warehouse visit until its very conclusion.
Students could comprehend the importance of plant arrangement and plant location. Students gained a grasp of the aspects that must be taken into account while choosing the prerequisites by thinking about the appropriate plant size while looking at the Haier assembly area.
Corporate visit to The New Shop | December 20, 2022
On December 20, 2022, the students of B. Com visited the corporate office of The New Shop, which is located in Okhla Phase III Road. The visit was an experience to remember for the students. It was truly admirable, from the way the facility officials welcomed them to the way they guided the students throughout their visit. During the visit, the students asked a lot of questions to the officials of the corporation, which were also answered with utmost interest. The officials brief the students that the corporation falls under the category of 24-hour convenience stores.
They do not sell products in the very expensive segment and instead focus on daily-use items, with a particular interest in food. Their aim is to provide 24*7 customer service to the population via offline and online modes. They explained to the students, that they want their customers to come to their store and purchase goods, as they say that they have new and unique products available at their store, which may manipulate the person into buying that stuff as well as the goods for which they have actually come. They deliver within a 3-kilometer radius and currently have 72 operational stores, with plans to open 10,000 stores in a year, including 1,000 in Delhi. Currently, they are available in residential areas, airports, railway stations, and a few other places. The idea or programme that fascinated students the most was the “Employee to Entrepreneur” program. In this program, The New Shop gives its store manager the store to run, and the minimum criteria is that you must work with them for at least 1 year, which is very little compared to other companies. They also claimed that after the employee-to-entrepreneur program, not only the store owner but their family were quite involved in the business. The students were briefed that, as not all convenience stores are open 24 hours a day, there is little competition in the market. At the end of the visit, the students met their HR head and training department head. Overall, it was a productive day and a great learning experience for the students.

Industrial visits, which familiarise the students with industry-specific knowledge, a practical viewpoint, and necessary skills, are a crucial part of the teaching at the Asian School of Business. Due to such exposure to the industry, students are better able to design, plan, and engage in active learning events both inside and outside of the classroom. In line with the said objective, Asian School of Business organised an industrial visit at the Center for e-Governance (CeG), Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, on December 19, 2022. During the industrial visit, the students were briefed about digital India—empowerment and transformation—by the officials of the Center for e-Governance (CeG), Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India. The students learned about the importance of various government schemes towards the digital India vision. The students received detailed information on schemes that included Adhaar, Umang, Digilocker, BHIM, Meghraj (the cloud initiative), and OpenForge. The visit was able to enrich students with the knowledge of how the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) was established in 1999, the evolution of the digital India programme from pre-1990 to the 2015 launch of digital India, and how the government organisations had completely moved to digital India, supporting e-government, e-industry, e-innovation/R&D, e-learning, e-security, e-inclusion, and the Internet. The students had a very good discussion with the government officials about digital infrastructure in every city (mostly villages and rural areas), in which they talked about how the government established common service centres in villages.
At the end, the officials conducted the quiz based on the lessons delivered to the students. The students learned about various e-government schemes and were motivated by the officials to use them and lend a hand to anyone who wanted to learn how to use them. The students also visited various digital India websites and acquired knowledge about various government initiatives.
Industrial visit to the Decathlon | November 1, 2022
A significant component of the Asian School of Business teaching methodology involves industrial visits, which familiarise the students with industry-specific knowledge, a practical viewpoint, and necessary abilities. Students can create, organize, and participate in active learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, thanks to the first hand knowledge they obtain about how the industry operates. In line with the stated objective, ASB conducted a corporate industrial visit to Decathlon, on November 1, 2022, for the 2021–24 batch of BCom students. The students visited the facility with Ms. Swasti Uppal, Manager-CRC, and Prof. Priyanshi Sharma. Decathlon is a French sporting goods retailer and one of the world’s most well-known and largest B2C outlet stores dealing in sports goods. It operates 1697 outlets in 60 countries worldwide.
During the visit, the journey of the Decathlon, from its start in France to its arrival in India, was explained to students. Students were explained how it is a dominant player in its category and commands a commendable market share that positively affects its revenue and brand image. It first arrived in India in 1996 as a manufacturer before opening its first store in Bangalore. Ever since, the company has managed to scale up its business just like the other geographies in which it operates. Decathlon manages the in-house research, design, production, logistics, and distribution of its products and those of its partners.
The students participated in the treasure hunt game, where they were tasked with locating the solutions to a series of questions. The students also interacted with and questioned the store managers about the company’s marketing tactics, operations, and challenges, to which the store managers happily answered the questions.
to conclude, the students had an excellent practical learning experience, and the visit was beneficial for them. This will take them one step closer to realising their corporate dream.

With the goal of going beyond the classroom and giving students a realistic view of the working world – providing students’ knowledge of how businesses operate on the inside, industrial visits are frequently organised for the students of ASB. On October 18, 2022, a study trip to Blogic Software Technology Pvt. Ltd. was organised for BCA third-semester students. A total of 39 students attended the industrial visit along with Prof. Suvidha Agarwal and Ms. Swasti Uppal, Manager, CRC.
Arriving at the facility, each and every student was eager to find out more about the newest technologies. The briefing to the students started with an introduction to artificial intelligence: what it is, how it is used, what its subsets are, and why it is leading the market. The students gained a new perspective and were eager to learn more. Next, they were introduced to web design, where the students gained insights into new topics, terminologies, and ways to implement it in different languages.
Students were then formed into groups and were given briefings on various networking devices. They were shown different switches, routers, and circuits and given information about their usage in real life.
It was a good exposure for the students to get practical knowledge from experts on the terms that they hear every day in classrooms. The students were able to understand the topics of their interest and gained good knowledge about artificial intelligence, web design, and networking. On October 13, 2022, Asian School of Business, Noida organised a one-day industrial visit to “Blogic Software Technology Pvt Ltd”, Noida , Uttar Pradesh for students of BCA 2020. The aim of the visit was to provide the students with an insight into the internal workings of the company and to gain practical exposure. Prof. Shyla accompanied the students on the visit to help them understand the link between the real world and classroom concepts.
On reaching the company, the students were attended by company representatives, who introduced students to the company and their services, such as Digital Marketing, Cloud Services, Online Courses Training, and Product Training. They introduced and detailed their main business, “Training Basket” which provides training and placements to the students. After the introduction, a webinar on “Java, Python, and AI” was conducted for the students, which involved the introduction of programming languages and the purpose of programming in the real world, the scope of Python and Java, the importance of Python, and why Python is so hyped! The webinar also detailed cloud computing services and their classified categories: “PAAS (Platform As a Service), SAAS (Software As a Service), and IAAS (Infrastructure As a Service).” After the basic idea of cloud computing was discussed with the students, artificial intelligence was also discussed with them, which included how AI is expanding in every sector, such as digital marketing, healthcare, etc., and why is AI so important nowadays? Further discussion elaborated on the ladder of AI, AI as the superset of machine learning and deep learning, and how to learn these technologies.
The students on the visit were also shown the server room with an explanation of the functioning of the router, switches, and fire walls.
The visit was a real learning experience for the student of BCA as it helped them gain an understanding of the operations that are carried out in the industry.
Industrial visit to Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd.
On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Asian School of Business organised an industrial visit to Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. for BBA 2021-24 students with the aim of providing them an insight into the internal working strategy of the company and gaining practical exposure.
On reaching the industry, the company’s representatives held a small session where they presented a small video about the history and some interesting facts about the company, which were:
• The company was founded on May 8, 1982.
• Founder: Dr. John Pemberton
• Headquarters: Jacob’s Pharmacy in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
• The second most recognisable word is “Coca Cola”, after the word “Okay”.
• In 1985, it was the first ever soft drink that was consumed in outer space.
After which, the students proceeded towards the manufacturing unit “The Vault” where the students got a fair idea about the production process of Coca-Cola and Maaza. In continuation, they showed students the first ever designed glass bottles by Coca-Cola. The company has created a separate section for the antique bottles for the records. The company’s representative told them about the history behind each and every bottle. Each Coca-Cola bottle was aesthetically designed, placed, and displayed.
Finally, the students were shown various projects and collaborations that were taken up by the company, whose ultimate aim was the welfare of society. Limca Book of Records, Project UNNATI, Project VEER, and many other well-known projects are among them.
The visit helped the students gain an understanding of the operations that are carried out in the industries.

Industrial visit to RJ Corp. (Pepsi) Greater Noida

On 31st January 2020, BBA students went for an industrial visit to RJ Corp. (Pepsi) in Greater Noida i.e. Varun Beverages. The students of BBA 2019-22 batch visited second largest franchisee in the world (outside US) of carbonated soft drinks (“CSDs”) and non-carbonated beverages (“NCBs”) sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo and a key player in the beverage industry.
The group of 100 management students was led by faculty member Dr. Ambika Rathi. Upon arrival at the facility, the group of students was addressed by the factory representative who provided general guidelines related to code of conduct to be followed by the students in the facility premises. The students were taken to see the production process in batches. The visit was a great exposure to the students where they could get an understanding of the entire process from raw material to packaging.
Industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd., Sonepat
20th February 2020
On 20th February 2020, BBA students went for an industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd., the global probiotic health drink leader. Just to mention that the Yakult manufacturing plant with ISO9001: 2008, HACCP and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified state-of-the-art facility is located at Rai, Sonepat in Haryana. A group of 90 management students led by two faculty members Dr. Anu Nagpal Chopra and Ms. Keerti Rikhari went on to understand and analyze the production process by observing the same in real-time.
Upon arrival, the group was addressed by the factory representative Mr. Aadish who provided general guidelines related to conduct and safety in the facility premises. First up, students were taken to production process centre wherein they understood the production system. They observed that the production section is completely equipped with Japanese machines with a production capacity of 3 lakh bottles a day. As far as technical part of it is concerned, production process starts by dissolving the skimmed milk powder and water. This solution is then sterilized using an ultra-heat sterilizer which kills any unwanted bacteria. Afterwards the solution is cooled and Lactobacillus KCI Shirota is added to it and left to grow to carry out the requisite fermentation. In order to get the right amount of culture, the solution is kept at constant temperature during the fermentation period. The solution is then passed through pipes in order to make it smoother and finally once the solution is checked, sugar is added to give Yakult its pleasant taste. The solution is further cooled to render the bacteria dormant after which water is added to provide the right consistency. Then the drink is poured into the iconic little bottles with the help of machines and through conveyor belts they get assembled and packed into larger packs.
In the second half of the day, the group was introduced to the world of probiotics and about journey of Yakult since beginning. Overall students could relate to management fundamentals like procurement, processing, labelling, quality testing, packaging, marketing, distribution, demand forecasting, production planning, supply chain and general management. They could also understand the importance of planning more so due to the perishable nature of the commodity. Students also enquired about competitors, promotion, advertising, retail and institutional customers which were answered by the hosts.

On 24th February 2020, the students of Asian School of Business visited Banas Dairy, Faridabad. There was a total of 85 students of the BBA & BCA batch 2018-21 who visited the facility.
The Dairy was established in 2015, Faridabad, Haryana. The diary is one of the leading sellers of dairy products and has made a name for itself in the list of top suppliers in India. Banas Dairy is a quality driven organization offering a wide range of Curd, milk, ghee within preset time limit.
Upon arrival the students were briefed by the company representative about the company, their products and the production process. The students were also briefed about the safety precaution the students need to follow during their visit to the facility. The students we taken to the facility to see the units of Pasteurisation, curd production, paneer production, packaging, etc. and understand the process.

On 14th Feb 2020 2020, BBA students of Asian School of Business visited Bisleri International, Ghaziabad. A group of 100 students of BBA 2019-22 batch was led by faculty members- Ms Shivani Baijal & Dr. Ambika Rathi.

The visit was an excellent learning opportunity for the students where they could get an understanding of the entire production process.

The students of BBA 2018-21 batch visited Global Autotech ltd. on 5th February 2019. A batch of 40 students were accompanied by faculty Ms. Poornima Singh to the facility.
Global Autotech Ltd has been a pioneer in India in many cutting-edge technologies for precision automotive components. Global Autotech Ltd has been making high precision machined and tubular parts for automotive Air Conditioners and its parts are being used in prominent passenger cars manufactured in India. Global Autotech Ltd is also the only facility in South Asia to have a vertical squeeze casting machine which is suitable for very high integrity castings used in structural and high-pressure applications.
The students were guided though the facility by the company representative where he explained all the process to the students in details. The visit was indeed a wonderful learning experience for our students.

Asian School of Business, organized Industrial Visit to Amul Plant at Manesar on 9th & 11th Feb 2019, for the BBA and BCA students.
Upon Arrival to the plant Mr. S.K. Singh, briefed the students about the details of the production process, the products and the administrative functioning. The Plant visit was conducted under his guidance where he reiterated the things he had briefed. He explained the functioning of – receiving section, operation section- milk section, curd section & ice cream section, dispatch section, automation and control room, etc. After the visit students were shown documentary regarding milk production. The students also had question – answer round. The students were also offered Ice Cream produced in the plant.

Asian School of Business (ASB) arranged an Industrial Visit for BBA students to Bisleri International, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad (U.P).
The objective of the activity revolved around educating students about the Industrial setup, operations, product manufacturing of prominent companies. The Industrial Visit organized at Bisleri International talks about the Product and Company’s journey, production cycle, FMCG sector as a whole and the career opportunities with company and the sector.
There was a brief presentation about the product line, manufacturing process, market share, scope and the transition of the brand since 1949 till today. The company is moving ahead with the mission of being the dominant player in the branded water business and expanding to be a leader in the premium beverage category.

Industrial Visit to Anmol Bakers

To provide students with the practical exposure of the theoretical concepts, an industrial visit to Anmol Bakers, Noida was arranged for BBA students on 16th November 2017.
The students were able to get a first-hand experience of food manufacturing enterprise. HR Head of the company, Mr. B. S. Sharma, briefed the students about the company profile and highlighted the important steps of the manufacturing process. The students were exposed to the functioning of the various departments including Raw materials and Procurement department, quality control department, Storage & Designing department.
Faculty members Dr Resham, Ms Sadhna Gaur along with Corporate Resource Team Member Mr Jaffy Gill accompanied the students to the manufacturing facility. Students participated with lot of zeal and the visit was a great learning experience for the management students.
Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd
9th November 2017
As a part of its endeavour to help the students gain latest first hand information regarding functioning of the Industry and engaging them in active learning experiences outside the classroom, Corporate Resource Cell of Asian School of Business (ASB) organised an Industrial Visit for its BBA – I Year students to Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd on 9 November 2017.
Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Yakult Honsha, Japan and Groupe Danone, France, both of whom are global leaders in Probiotics. In India, Yakult is manufactured at an ISO 9001:2008, HACCP and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified manufacturing facility in Industrial township of Sonepat, Haryana.
The visit started with a presentation by the company personnel in form of a brief introduction about the origin of probiotics, brief about the Company, its distribution network in India and current position on the global platform.
Students were taken for a factory visit and every step in the process of manufacturing of the probiotic health drink, Yakult, starting with germination of the Lactobacillus Casei strain Shirota (LcS) bacteria, enlarging it to the desired production levels, role of Quality Control department, packing of the final product were explained to the students. All the queries of students were answered by the company guides.
Students participated with enough zeal to make the visit pretty much interactive, meanwhile gaining decent knowledge about Production, Quality Control, Marketing and Operations regarding functioning of the Company.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT FOR BBA STUDENTS @ COCA COLA on 19th August 2017
Asian School of Business organized an Industrial visit for its BBA students. On 19th August, 2017 our students visited Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited, Dasna. They provided them a Bird’s eye view about manufacturing of various products of Coke brand. During the visit, students were explained about the safety and BMP (Best Manufacturing Practices) followed at the unit. Just to mention that Dasna manufacturing unit is the second largest manufacturing unit of Coke the world over.

Asian School of Business organized an interaction of the students of BBA Ist Semester with Mr. Sushil Aggarwal, Chairman, Avon Mold Plast Pvt Ltd. Mr. Aggarwal enriched the young minds with his words of wisdom.
Avon Mold Plast Pvt. Ltd. was established in year 2002 at Ghaziabad U.P. India to manufacture quality plastic molded furniture in the brand name of Avon catering to the wide strata of consumers and since then has continuously progressed to meet the growing needs and challenges by catering with newer designs, models, colors and range etc. to the satisfaction of customers.
The young managers were shown the process of making plastic and how it takes the final shape of the product. Asianites were happy to be part of this visit as they learnt a lot about the hard work and technological innovation that goes in the making of plastic furniture.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT @ YAKULT DANONE
Asian School of Business organized an industrial visit for the newly inducted students of BBA (16-19) batch. They were taken to Yakult Danone Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat. The students got an opportunity to get corporate exposure by the means of industrial visit. Such visits make the young and budding managers broaden their understanding with respect of corporate functioning.
Danone India Pvt. Ltd. manufactures and sells probiotic products. The company offers a probiotic health drink, which is a fermented milk drink and functional food that contains beneficial bacteria for various age groups, including children and pregnant women. It offers its products through a network of supermarkets, high volume retailers, bakeries, chemists, hospitals, office canteens, and small retailers in India.
Asianites were enthusiastic about this visit and got firsthand knowledge how various channels work in synergy to produce a brand.

Asian School of Business organized participation of BBA Ist Year at IIM Lucknow recently. The seminar cum workshop was on “Idea for a Business Start Up along with its feasibility on various parameters.”

ASIANITES@ YAMUNA BIO DIVERSITY PARK
Asian School of Business believes in imparting all round development to the students. With a view to broaden the horizons of the young managers, a visit to Yamuna Bio Diversity Park was organized for BBA students on 13th and 14th December 2016.
Emerging as the capital’s most visited public place and prominent center for learning and understanding the environment, the Yamuna Bio diversity Park has become a home for biologically rich wetlands, grassland communities, a wide variety of fruit yielding species and an abundance of medicinal herbs. The Park also comprises a native flora and fauna which used to exist a 100 years ago and then became extinct locally. It further, acts as a natural conservation site for specific group of endangered plants. The Yamuna Biodiversity Park is presently spread over an area of approximately 457 acres near Wazirabad village on the flat alluvial plains of the Yamuna.
It was a very informative visit for our young managers and they were highly impressed by the rich bio diversity.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT @ TERI
Asian School of Business organized an Industrial visit to TERI for the young budding managers of BBA (16-19) batch. The students were taken to TERI, Gurgaon and they witnessed the innovative technology used in the institute.
The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a research institute based in New Delhi that conducts research work in the fields of energy, environment and sustainable development. Established in 1974, it was formerly known as Tata Energy and Resource Institute. As the scope of its activities widened, it was renamed The Energy and Resources Institute in 2003.
The young managers of BBA (16-19) batch had lot to learn and they were enriched with many innovative ideas. They were inquisitive to learn about the clean energy that was used for generation of electricity. In a nutshell, this visit was a great value addition. This visit was coordinated by Mr. Vipul Mehta and Dr. Anu Nagpal Chopra.
INDUSTRIAL TRIP@RADICO FASHIONS
Asian School of Business organized an industrial trip to Radico Fashions, Noida. The students of BBA Ist year (16-19) visited the plant and they got to know about the company.
Radico Fashions was established in 1992 and was involved in the field of natural and herbal cosmetics. They are manufacturing 23 colours and export their herbal products in 40 countries. The students were shown how the products are prepared with the organic raw material.
This industrial trip was conducted by Ms. Supriya Srivastava, Ms. Malvika Sagar and Ms. Kavita Khurana.
ASIANITES AT FIEO AWARD FUNCTION
Our students of BBA (15-18) batch were witness to the prestigious award function held by Federation of Indian Export Organization on 4th of May, 2016 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The chief guest of this award function was Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Honorable President of India. He gave away the highly coveted “Niryat Shree” and “Niryat Bandhu” Golden Jubilee Awards to the renowned industrialists and corporate leaders. The august gathering comprised of the delegates from various countries and many top global and nation business leaders were present in this high profile event.
Asianites got the rare opportunity to be a part of such an event. They were overwhelmed to meet and listen to such stalwarts of Indian polity and Indian Inc. We are sure that such events and interactions will prove to be a defining moment for the young igniting minds.

Industrial Visit to Liberty Shoes Ltd., Karnal

The students of BBA 2016-19 batch visited Liberty Shoe, Karnal on 5th August 2016.
The company was incorporated on 3 September 1986 as a Public Limited Company and obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on 11 March 1988. The company has been set up to manufacture and sell leather and non-leather shoes, leather shoe uppers and leather garments. Presently the company is engaged in the manufacturing of leather and non-leather shoes.
The Company is marketing its product nationally and internationally under the brand name “LIBERTY” and is well established in the national and international market.
The students were accompanied by faculty Mr. Brijesh Singh to the facility where they could see leather making, processing, footwear production and packaging. The students had a great learning experience from the visit.

The students of BBA 2016-19 batch visited Minda Sai, Greater Noida on 16th December 2016.
Established in 1950, Minda Sai Ltd. has made a name for itself in the list of top suppliers of in India. The supplier company is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Minda Sai Ltd. is a quality driven organization offering a wide range of Four-wheeler automobile spare parts, gears, brakes, clutches, radiators, radiators cores. It is one of the leading sellers of listed products. Minda Sai Ltd. is listed in Trade India’s list of verified sellers offering supreme quality products.
The students visited the facility where they could understand the process. The faculty Ms. Nidhi Agarwal accompanied the students for the visit and guided them through the visit. The students were able to get a good learning experience from the visit to the facility.

Industrial Visit to Yakult, Sonipat

Asian School of Business organized an Industrial visit for the students of BBA to Yakult, Sonipat on 8th September 2015.
As a pioneer in probiotic Yakult has formidable research capabilities and product technologies in the field of probiotics. Yakult central institute for microbiological research has for years researched the use of intestinal bacteria as a factor in health maintenance, conducting a wide range of studies on the benefits of microorganisms in Japan and in India too.
The industrial exposure gave the students an opportunity to know the organization internally. It was a very good experience that enabled students to know production process.
Industrial Visit to Mother Dairy, Delhi

An Industrial visit for the students of BBA of Asian School of Business was organized to Mother Diary, Delhi on 18th November 2015.
The Company over the last many years has created a market leadership position for itself in branded milk segment in Delhi & NCR through a robust network of its booth and retail channels. It has also expanded its reach to other regions in North, South, East and West with its offering of Milk and Milk products pegging it among the few companies to own such a vast channel of distribution in India.
Brand Mother Dairy sources a significant part of its requirement of liquid milk from dairy cooperatives and village level farmer centric organizations. The Company is committed to uphold institutional structures that empower milk producers and farmers through processes that are equitable. A significant portion of its income is ploughed back into the value chain to support and maintain the system.
The students on arrival to the facility were given insight to the production process which was a great learning experience for the students.
