Noida, 29th June, 2022: Delhi NCR-based Asian School of Business – which is a part of Asian Education Group and ranked as one of the best undergraduate B- schools in Delhi-NCR – launched its mega event “Student of the Year”, which is a great opportunity for the holistic development of the students.
The launch of the event was held in the valued presence of the Directors of Asian Education Group-Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, and Dr. Maroof Ahmad Mir (Dean Asian School of Business), along with the department heads, faculty, and staff members. The official launch included the unveiling of the poster, the grand trophy, the winning shield, and the prize of “Rs. 3 Lacs” for GRANT/SEED Fund.
The battle for the best students will commence in July 2022, right after their enrolment with Asian School of Business in BBA, BCA, or B. Com course.
Students will be first given the opportunity to present their business idea in the competition, ASB Start-Up Idea of the Year ’22. The student with the best business idea will get a direct entry to the finale of the grand event “ASB SOTY” and also bag an Apple iPad.
The winner for “ASB SOTY” will be the student who not only excels in academics but also in other activities like sports, cultural, literary, etc., which will be measured with a Professional Assessment Score for the first two years. In the third year, the top 10 students with the highest PAS score will be in the race for the mega event “ASB SOTY“. The winner of the event will be the one who comes out with flying colours, beating others in the three rounds, which are the sports, talent, and business idea round.
Ultimately “Student of the Year (SOTY)” is a great platform for students to hone their skills, shape as all-rounders, and eventually win a prize of “Rs. 3 Lacs” for GRANT/SEED Fund, along with a shield and the grand trophy.
