Inculcating the sense of responsibility towards our surroundings among the young generation has been the motive of Asian School of Business. In accordance to the same, the World Environment Day will be celebrated in the campus on 8th of June, 2023.
The awareness will be generated among the youth followed by the oath that will be taken by the staff and the students to minimize the plastic waste. The awareness will be in terms of the pollution caused by the plastic waste on earth and the harm it is causing to the marine life. The students will be made aware about the ill- effects of single use plastic, recycling the plastic waste and the various sustainable practices that can be adopted for promoting the sustainable practices. Then, a collection drive for collecting the plastic waste will be conducted within the premises. The students will go around the campus and collect the plastic waste which will be hoarded in a designated bin. The institute will further extend its hand by signing an MOU with one of the premier NGO which will further collect the waste and put the same for re-cycling.
The event is scheduled to start at 11:00 am in the Theatre Hall, followed by collection of plastic waste which will continue for 1 hour around the campus.
