Dr. Sunita Verma currently serves as the Professor and Dean – Student Welfare at Asian School of Business. Her academic journey features a doctoral focus on Employee Engagement from the School of Business and Management at Jaipur National University, where she delved into analyzing the antecedents and consequences of employee engagement within the organized retail segment.
As a dedicated academician, Dr. Verma specializes in Human Resources research. Beyond her academic roles, she is recognized as a certified Trainer for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (Posh). Dr. Verma actively facilitates training for Internal Committee members and conducts awareness programs, contributing to a safer and more inclusive work environment.
Adding to her academic achievements, Dr. Verma successfully completed the NPTEL course on “Organizational Development and Change in the 21st Century,” conducted by IIT, Bombay under the Swayam Program funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In 2021, she received recognition from the Uttar Pradesh Government for her outstanding contribution to the implementation of the New Education Policy 2020.
Dr. Verma holds a Post Graduate degree in HR and Marketing and has earned a UGC-NET qualification in Labour Welfare and Industrial Relations. Additionally, she is a degree holder in Commercial Secretarial Practice from the Commercial Secretarial Institute, Delhi.
With a wealth of experience spanning over 12 years in both corporate and academic realms, Dr. Verma has significantly contributed to various B Schools and management institutes, actively fostering the overall growth of students and organizations alike. Her corporate background includes associations with MPS, Vodafone, Tata Indicom, and Cottage Emporium, a government undertaking. Dr. Sunita Verma’s diverse expertise positions her as a valuable asset in both the academic and professional spheres.
