Richa Diwakar is an Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting at the Asian School of Business (ASB). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Forensic Accounting. She is a recipient of the UGC-NET JRF and SRF fellowship, she has been actively engaged in teaching and research for over five years.
Her areas of academic interest revolve around core accounting subjects, including Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, and Forensic Accounting. She has published research papers in reputed national and international journals, indexed in Scopus and UGC-CARE. She has also attended and been part of organizing multiple national and international conferences, contributing both as a scholar and as an academic coordinator.
An alumna of the University of Delhi, she began her teaching career there before moving into full-time academia. Her current research focuses on forensic accounting and its impact on corporate practices, a field where she aspires to make significant contributions.
Passionate about blending theory with practice, she remains committed to nurturing students’ academic growth while advancing research in emerging areas of accounting and finance.
