
Dr. Richa Sharma, an Assistant Professor at the Asian School of Business, is a UGC-NET qualified educator, dedicated learner, and researcher and researcher with a Ph.D. in Diaspora Literature from The NorthCap University, Gurugram. She was a Dean-Listed researcher and was awarded the reputed University Fellowship during her doctoral studies. Her research focuses on cross-cultural identity, memory, and mythical consciousness in the works of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni and M.G. Vassanji. She has published nine research articles, including in Web of Science–indexed journals, and contributed four book chapters to edited volumes. She has presented papers at over 35 national and international conferences, engaging with diverse scholarly discourses. Her work was recognised with the Best Paper Award at the International Conference organised by Chandigarh University in collaboration with the University of Alcalá, Spain, in 2023. With over five years of teaching experience, she has supervised postgraduate dissertations, contributed to curriculum development, and delivered guest lectures and workshops on academic writing and literary criticism. Her academic journey continues to evolve with a strong interest in language pedagogy, linguistic identity, and interdisciplinary approaches to communication. She aspires to contribute meaningfully to the field of English language and literature through teaching, research, and collaborative scholarship.
